Importing bank statements (CSV/Excel)

Finova can import your bank statements from CSV or Excel files exported from your bank's internet banking portal.

1

Log in to your bank's internet banking portal and download your statement as CSV or Excel (.xlsx).

2

In Finova, go to Banking → Bank Reconciliation → Import Statement.

3

Select your bank account from the dropdown.

4

Click Choose File and upload your downloaded statement.

5

Finova will show a column mapping screen. Match the columns: Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Balance.

6

Click Import. Finova will load the transactions for reconciliation.

💡

Tip: Most major banks export in a compatible format. If your bank's format doesn't match, contact support and we'll add a custom mapping.

⚠️

Note: Make sure there are no blank rows or merged cells in your Excel file before importing. These can cause import errors.
